Krm's Website

KRM

KRM are my initials, but I do not want to pass on personal information, so I will not tell you what they stand for. You may use your imagination to make up a name for me--I do not mind in the least.

What stories have you written?

I have written the Spider Queen chronicles, the Bother series, Archie Smith Boy Wonder, Foreign Wind, and some work in progresses (Jasper, Novian, and Roman Blood). And...that's all I can think of. My friends, classmates, parents, and teachers love to hear them. Recently I have written longer and more complex stories, which includes a book I started called Jasper, Evergreen (incomplete), Foreign Wind (completed), Beyond (incomplete), Dispell (complete) and several poems. It seems like I have lots of ideas--but just don't know how to finish them! They're usually left hanging in a folder in my brain...I guess all writers have them.

What do you like to do?

Well, I like to hang out with my friends, write stories and poems, read, fence, draw, surf the internet, cook and bake, eat chocolate, travel, ride horses, and imagine. My friends and I are constantly making up new stories with characters based on ourselves (in one case, our school play and the roles we played evolved into many short stories and drawings).

What is your favorite food?

I'm sorry, I'm just not one of those people with a single favorite food. And there are yet more to come--I haven't tried everything in the world yet! But some of my favorites include chocolate (preferably dark), brownies, smoothies, and pineapple. Odd mix, is it not? :)

What things inspire you to write?

Oh, there are plenty of things in the real world that inspire me to write, not just books. Like one of my favorite people once said--the best place to hide something is in plain sight. So that's where I look. I am inspired by authors such as Gail Carson Levine, Erin Hunter, Jeff Kinney, and many more. I am also inspired by the people I meet, my friends and their creativity, movies (they're pretty big in this aspect), and nature. I am a huge fan of nature. Don't get me wrong, NYC is great, but the woods are more my type of environment. :)
